I know winter is coming, but I have to admit, autumn remains my favourite season. The foliage around my home this year is just gorgeous, the orange, red, yellow. There’s even one tree I can’t identify that has turned a beautiful purplish colour. Now’s the time of year to don a warm jumper and curl up next to the fire with a good book and a hot drink.

Before you settle in for a long winter’s nap, celebrate Guy Fawkes Night on Nov. 5, with a bonfire and fireworks. Then there’s the baking and cooking and shopping for Christmas, Dec. 25. As always, Boxing Day arrives the following day on Dec. 26. Finally, keep your revelry in check on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31. Learn all about the history of the New Year from In a Nutshell. Keep reading to find out how to keep your e-mail under control and to minimize clutter using your computer.

For a break during the holiday rush, stop by Treehouse Games and match the quote to the speaker. Then pause to ponder in Treehouse Trivia
